 Forecast Notes
A high pressure system centred just west of Tasmania extends a ridge over Victoria. The ridge and associated high pressure system will move slowly east overnight, reaching the Tasman Sea on Tuesday. A low pressure trough over South Australia will approach western Victoria later on Tuesday. This trough will cross the State on Wednesday ahead of a cold front which will reach far southwestern Victoria on Wednesday night. The front will cross the rest of southern Victoria early on Thursday as another high pressure system rapidly develops over the State. The high will move over the Tasman Sea by Friday morning, extending a ridge over NSW.
