 Forecast Notes
A high pressure system just south of Adelaide currently extends a ridge across Victoria to another high developing off the New South Wales coast, with the ridge to remain in place tomorrow while the eastern high continues eastwards over the Tasman Sea. A cold front will cross Tasmania on Friday, briefly intruding on the ridge during the day, with the western high centre to then move near the New South Wales coast in the evening. A deep low moving east over the Southern Ocean will extend a trough over western Victoria Saturday morning, followed by a cold front which will cross the state in the evening. The low will then spin another cold front towards Victoria late Sunday as it passes south of Tasmania.
